Warranty

We warrant our workmanship for 3 years from the date of dispatch. This covers the parts of the sail we make: stitching and seams, webbing reinforcement, and the attachment of corner fittings to the sail.

The fabric is covered separately. Shade fabric carries the fabric manufacturer's own limited warranty against UV degradation. It's their warranty, on their terms, and it has its own conditions and exclusions. If you think you have a fabric claim, contact us with photos and your order number and we'll help you through it.

Installation isn't covered. We supply only — how and where the sail is installed is outside our control and outside this warranty.

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage from failure to remove the sail during cyclone warnings or severe weather
• Damage from incorrect installation, insufficient tension, or wind flap caused by a slack sail
• Damage from incorrect cleaning — bleach, pressure washing, mould removers, acid washes or abrasive cleaners 
• Damage from abrasion or chafing against gutters, roofing or structures
• Damage from chemicals, fire, hail, vandalism, animals or falling branches
• Modifications or repairs carried out by others
• Normal wear and tear
• Any consequential costs, including removal, re-installation, freight or labour

Making a claim: Contact us with photos and your order number before removing the sail. Where a valid claim is made, we'll repair or replace the sail at our discretion.

This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
